Using Insurance:
– Contact your insurance company first (behavioral health department) and ask if you need to see your primary care doctor first to rule out anything medical, and get a referral from your doctor. Also ask if there are any limits to how many sessions you have, and how much your co-pay is for therapy sessions.
– Next, contact Real Talk Therapy and schedule your intake appointment.
– If you have received any mental health services in the past (therapy, psychiatric, hospitalization, etc), please bring paper work from those previous services to add to your file. That is important information to have on hand, for you and the therapist.
– Please bring your photo ID and insurance card to be scanned to add to your file.
No Insurance/Private Pay:
– Contact Real Talk Therapy to schedule your intake appointment.

Court Ordered:
– Contact Real Talk Therapy to schedule your intake appointment.
– Once an appointment has been scheduled, contact your probation officer or others involved to provide them with your intake appointment date and time.
– Gather all legal documents to bring them to your first appointment to have them scanned in to your file.
– If you have received any mental health services in the past (therapy, psychiatric, hospitalization, etc), please bring paper work from those previous services to add to your file. That is important information to have on hand, for you and the therapist.
– Please bring your photo ID to be scanned to add to your file.
If a minor (under 18 years of age) is coming for court ordered services, the child’s guardian(s) must present their photo ID’s for the child’s file, and also assist with gathering and taking all appropriate documents.
