When a child is brought in for services, it is very important that the caregivers of the child be involved in the therapy process. It is sometimes difficult for children to be open, and trust in others, so knowing their caregivers are a part of the process helps the child’s learning, growth, and goal reaching much better. It is also important the caregivers learn along the way with the children, so that should something arise in the future, the caregivers feel confident and more prepared to help their child through the issue.
